What a day!
Well this one kicked off with a little hiccup at my end, but quickly moved into creating some awesome images- everyone were troopers, thanks so much guys and girls, because of you all we got some amazing images and had a load of fun to boot! just fantastic!
I think I said it after the last wedding, how something about the wedding grabs my attention? maybe? well this time what struck me was Rachael’s love and admiration for Andrew. You could see it when she looked at him at certain times when something was happening or being said, awesome to watch… awesome to photograph! It wasn’t something that happened all the time, these things aren’t, so when I did catch it a few times I was a very happy photographer! Obviously that love and admiration goes both ways, these two have done so much together already, and yet they have so much more to conquer together now…. and this part of life is kicking off with a rainbow… what a way to start your future together as Husband and wife!
Starting off with Rachael & the girls on Barrett Road, we then headed to The Bungalow for their ceremony and reception.. we had perfect light the whole time, the Mountain came out, the tide was low, things just fell into place… as they should on the special day of a special couple like these two. After the ceremony and groups we headed down to the beach for a bit of fun and some location photos, not the normal beach, but another one.. a better one! I’m so stoked we went where we did, it was just perfect! Then back again for some beautiful food from Delicious catering, some awesome speeches, a knife in the cake, and a good bit of dancing! Oh, and….. a rainbow!
Ok, I’ll expand on my thoughts on the rainbow… you know when something happens like this at a wedding it really warms the heart, it makes sense, it’s like it was suppose to happen, of course the wedding would have been amazing without it, but it says something don’t you think? I think it does, maybe because I was there and saw it, at that time, at that wedding.. don’t know, I know it’s fitting though for these two….
Images speak louder than words…..
