It feels like a natural healing amphitheatre.

Walking in at 4pm, half an hour from sunset, the birdsong just starting to amplify. A camera, 3 prime lenses and a tripod. Lens limits create problems, problems engage the brain. It’s all part of the healing process- be deep amongst nature, work the body low impact physically, work the brain on simple equations and problems with an end result- to create.

Any stress melts within the first 20 minutes of the stroll.

These images are a simple showcase of the quest of natural light amongst nature. How it filters and folds, a study of the light gradient from white to black. A test of equipment abilities against low light and small movements as breeze dances through the foliage.

I had a simple aim- No shine.
